Motorola DVB-H to Be Launched in 2007

Alcatel completes acquisition of Lucent

Alcatel SA completed its acquisition of Lucent Technologies Inc. on Thursday, creating one of the world’s biggest suppliers of network equipment for mobile phones and high-speed Internet.

38m SMSs sent in October

In October, subscriptions to all forms of communication technology increased, with the exception of mobile telephony subscriptions, the National Statistics Office reported yesterday.
