Nokia has finally decided to give us all the new E50 handsets all dressed up in a very nice black suit. The new color will most probably be another reason for the business men all over the world to get it and enjoy the smooth ride offered by the Symbian 9.1 OS S60 3rd edition that comes with the package.
The quad-band GSM cell phone that goes along with 850, 900, 1800 and 1900 MHz networks is also featuring a 256k colors TFT display with a 240×320 pixels resolution and a 1.3 megapixel camera with 4x digital zoom, together with wireless Bluetooth, GPRS, EDGE, IR and USB connectivity that will certain offer you enough choices when you’ll need a way to connect to some other device.
The user also has at his disposal Java MIDP 2.0 technology, Push-to-talk, a multimedia player with support for audio and video files, a xHTML/HTML browser and a number of business and office features like the Visto Mobile, BlackBerry Connect, Activesync Mail for Exchange and Intellisync Wireless Email.
The Nokia E50 also includes a search function enabling fast queries into critical data such as contacts, e-mails and messages. Important business attachments received via e-mail, such as documents, presentations, and spreadsheets, can be swiftly accessed through the Quickoffice viewer.
The phone is available in mobile stores across the world and if one wants a business-like handset with any type of connectivity one could ever think of using, then this surely is one of the few cell phones ready to fill the empty space left by other handsets that miss one, if not more, of the features available on the E50.
