EV-KD350

EV-KD350 KTF Korea have just launched the EV-KD350 handset that shows us how a phone with a good design should look like (at least in this case, we sort of have some kind of replacement, the LG Chocolate, but it just isn’t the same and you’ll see why later on).

The device features the DMB TV technology we have all heard of but never got to see it working live, except those lucky ones that had business to solve in Korea or won some type of contest with a trip to Korea as a prize. Furthermore, it offers a GPS system, an English-Korean dictionary, a 1.3 megapixel digital camera, a large and vibrant looking main display, an integrated MP3 player and, the thing that made me wanna throw my phone to the garbage is the ability to run two applications simultaneously using the built-in split screen technology.

In the end, I have to inform you that this phone will only be available in Korea and we will most probably have to wait a little (longer!) until the multi-tasking split screen thinghie will come aboard the phones we use every day. Until then, we’ll have to watch some more pictures of phones that seem impossibly gorgeous and with features the simple mortals walking the land outside Korea just dream of.
