Motorola V557

Cingular today launched the Motorola V557. Despite the higher numbers, the V557 is nearly identical to the previously launched V551. The only difference is the addition of Motorola’s SCREEN3 technology that offers news and other information as a ticker streaming across the home screen. Cingular is the first carrier to support SCREEN 3.
Other features of the Motorola V557 include:
* Quad-band GSM
* EDGE high-speed data
* Bluetooth
* VGA camera
Cingular is selling the V557 for $99 after rebate and with a 2-year service contract.
