theglobe.com Subsidiary “TGLO” Announces Overlay of Craigslist with VoIP
April 3rd, 2006 - Posted in Other, VoIP, Wirelesstglo, the VoIP division of theglobe.com (OTCBB:TGLO - News), announced today the availability of its tglophone for users of Craigslist. Users of social classifieds such as Craigslist will now have a powerful communication tool allowing them to talk one on one with a potential buyer or seller.
New or existing users of Craigslist simply visit http://www.tglophone.com and acquire the tglophone. When they login after acquiring the tglophone, their Craigslist accounts will be enabled for voice communications throughout their experiences. For example, a “phone icon” will appear next to the product listing allowing for a click-to-call connection.
According to Brian Fowler, theglobe.com’s chief technology officer, “This is just another sign of the evolution of VoIP 2.0 and Web 2.0 providing users of the social web a means of communication without the overhead of complex applications.”
As with all tglophone accounts, users will receive benefits such as free calling, free voicemail, call logging and privacy.
Theglobe.com, tglo and its other subsidiaries are not affiliated with Craigslist or any of its subsidiaries, investors, or partners.
