Trinity Convergence, Inc., a leading provider of voice-over-IP (VoIP) embedded software platforms, today announced the general availability of VeriCall Core 4.2, a comprehensive VoIP media processing solution for manufacturers of telecommunications infrastructure and enterprise equipment.
In related news, the company also announced that Iskratel, a leading supplier of advanced telecommunications solutions, based in Slovenia, has selected the VeriCall Core 4.2 media processing solution for its SI2000 VoIP gateway, an access node designed for use in public and private next generation networks to connect VoIP equipment that resides on the LAN (e.g. VoIP phones, VoIP terminal adapters, PC phones) to existing PSTN environment.

The advanced feature set is in response to growing customer demand for more robust media processing solutions for high-density IP-based communications equipment. VeriCall Core 4.2 enhancements provide original equipment manufacturers (OEMs):
– A more extensive API for greater configurability and improved ease of use;
– New media processing features and functionality targeted at IP-PBXs; and
– Support for a wider range of processors and applications, including
the Freescale MSC7119

VeriCall Core 4.2 provides a comprehensive set of VoIP modules in a fully validated and pre-integrated framework that help equipment manufacturers dramatically reduce their time-to-market.
VeriCall Core software consists of the framework, algorithms, stacks, and protocols that support DSPs based on StarCore(TM) technology, including the Freescale MSC81xx and MSC71xx families.
