Nokia said on Tuesday it was stepping up its program to fight counterfeiters and distributors of fake handsets.
Nokia said counterfeiting was on the increase in both mobile devices and accessories and it would work with the law to fight against people making fake goods.

Empirix picked by Idaho telecom for VoIP monitoring

Bedford-based network testing equipment maker Empirix Inc. has landed a new customer in Idaho’s Idacomm Inc. The Boise-based company has already begun monitoring its VoIP network with Empirix’s Hammer XMS, in its coverage area, including Boise, Las Vegas and Reno.
