Samsung i830

The i830 would feature Windows Mobile with both GSM and CDMA compatibilities as well as support for 3G EVDO, needless to say it would be the first smartphone to offer these features together. Although most features are unchanged while comparing to the i730, the exterior would be cool blue and would miss Wifi and a digital camera. Not sure why Wifi would be left out, but I do recally returning the i730 handset because the wifi radio and phone could not work simultaneously. It is not really a technical challenge to put these two together, however it does affect revenue streams for VZW’s EVDO service, as is evident. The release date is rumored to be some time before the end of the year, so just hold on if you were just about to pick up the i730 from your neighbourhood store today. This seems to be worth the wait.
