Samsung P207
January 5th, 2006 - Posted in SamsungSamsung SGH P207
The p207 is more than a good looker. It’s the first cell phone to support speech-to-text capabilities, which means you can dictate text messages by saying them aloud.
Sound quality in calls is good, and GPRS and EDGE connectivity makes for relatively speedy uploads and downloads of pictures as well as Web browsing provided by Cingular’s MEdia service. There’s no speakerphone functionality, which may irk some potential business users.
The p207 is a good buy for those who want a sleek and stylish flip phone and aren’t hungry for the latest megapixel-plus cameras. The pioneering voice features are frosting on the cake and may particularly appeal to those who send quick text messages but aren’t good with their thumbs.
