Sony Ericsson W810Speaking of music, Sony Ericsson wants you to leave your iPod at home. Due out this spring, the satin black Sony Ericsson W810 is a quad-band GSM/GPRS world phone (with support for the high-speed EDGE service) that ships with a 512 megabyte removable Memory Stick Pro Duo card to store roughly 150 songs, and is upgradeable to a two gigabyte Memory Stick for 600 tunes. Nomadic music lovers can either use the bundled HPM-70 stereo headphones or use their own favourite buds, as this phone uses a standard 3.5 mm headphone jack. Universal Serial Bus (USB) 2.0 connectivity with your computer means songs or other media are transferred quickly to the handset, plus the W810 (www.sonyericsson.com) houses dedicated music control buttons just under the colour LCD screen to play, pause, skip tracks or adjust volume. Other features of this Bluetooth-enabled cellphone include a high-quality two-megapixel digital camera (with video recording) and supports e-mail, SMS, MMS, Net browsing and 3-D Java games. Price and carrier are still to be determined.
