Sony Ericsson has announced the latest entrant to the Walkman family the W810. Sony Ericsson W810 is a quad-band GSM850/900/1800/1900 MHz (GPRS Class 10) phone supporting EDGE, and can copy licensed audio files and access Music Download services. It has a 2 Megapixel Autofocus Camera with 4 X Digital zoom and support for Video Recording. It has a 1.9 inch 256k color TFT (176 x 220 pixels) and a built in Speakerphone. It has 20MB onboard memory and a Memory Stick card slot (upto 2 GB) bundled is a 512 MB memory stick. The W810’s Media Player can play MP3, AAC, MPEG4 and 3GPP files. It connects via USB 2.0 and has Bluetooth and Infrared connectivity.
There will be two versions of the Sony Ericsson W810:
W810i version – GSM/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz, for Europe, Near East, Africa, America and Pacific region
W810c version - GSM/EDGE 850/900/1800/1900 MHz, for mainland China
The Sony Ericsson W810 walkman phone will start shipping worldwide from March 2006.
