CRM Mexicana Implements AltiGen VoIP Call Center Solution for 800 Agent Expansion

AltiGen(R) Communications, Inc. , a pioneering manufacturer of VoIP business phone systems and call center solutions, is pleased to announce that CRM Mexicana is expanding its AltiContact Manager implementation by adding another 800 agents.

CRM Mexicana is Mexico’s largest outsourced call center and personalized customer handling service provider to financial institutions. The company began operating in 2001 with 50 call center agents and a high cost, legacy call center system. When the company had grown to 80 agents, CRM Mexicana decided to review other options to meet anticipated growth and new functionality requirements.

AltiGen’s Call Center solution was selected based upon its rich feature set, scalability and built in self-administration. AltiGen’s AltiContact Manager was installed in January of 2003. CRM Mexicana experienced immediate savings while expanding the company’s call center capabilities and capacity. “The solution from AltiGen provided CRM Mexicana with the capacity for 120 call center agents, and more functionality at half the cost compared to other products,” said Hugo Pelayo, owner and CEO of CRM Mexicana. “In addition, we recognized an additional 90% per month reduction in maintenance costs.”

Between 2003 and May 2006 the company grew to 1,200 part-time employees staffing 400 live agent positions. AltiGen’s advanced features such as call recording and advanced queuing have allowed CRM Mexicana to market their tightly managed outsource services to more companies.

Last month, the company reached another milestone by winning a major contract. This new contract requires CRM Mexicana to expand its AltiContact Manager Call Center installation to support 800 live agents. The expansion will bring CRM Mexicana to 3,500 employees and 1,200 live agents by the end of this calendar year.
