Empirix picked by Idaho telecom for VoIP monitoring
May 30th, 2006 - Posted in VoIPBedford-based network testing equipment maker Empirix Inc. has landed a new customer in Idaho’s Idacomm Inc. The Boise-based company has already begun monitoring its VoIP network with Empirix’s Hammer XMS, in its coverage area, including Boise, Las Vegas and Reno.
Financial terms of the deal were not provided.
Empirix’s Hammer products help ensure quality of service levels in the IP networks of both carriers and enterprises. The company claims more than 3,500 customers worldwide, including Nokia Corp., Cingular Wireless LLC and The DirectTV Group Inc.
Idacomm, the communications subsidiary of Idacorp Inc., offers telecommunication services and commercial and business Internet services in the mid-west. bizjournals.com
