The VeriCall Edge 3.0 Hi-Fidelity software platform re-defines the consumer VoIP experience by providing wideband voice processing technology that delivers voice quality superior to what is being delivered over today’s PSTN and VoIP networks.

– SP-MIDI — (Scalable Polyphony Musical Instrument Digital Interface)
enables access to a wide array of ringtones; the SP-MIDI decoder defines a
means for making content scalable across devices that support a varying
range of notes/melodies.

– RTSP — Real Time Streaming Protocol per RFC 2326; supports client
control of streaming media such as “play” and “pause” in real time.

An Advanced Video Phone Solution

VeriCall Edge provides support for the industry’s leading video compression and processing technologies, including H.264 (MPEG-4 AVC), MPEG-4 and H.263. The integration of video into VoIP phones creates a more realistic user experience and supports the addition of new services including one-to-one and three-way video conferencing; remote video surveillance and support for streaming video in real-time.

VeriCall Edge software is ported to a variety of silicon platforms that support video capabilities in both WiFi and wired phone applications. Video support includes VGA, CIF, QCIF and SQCIF resolutions of up to 30 frames per second video.
