Time Warner Telecom agrees to buy Xspedius
July 28th, 2006 - Posted in WirelessTime Warner Telecom Inc. aid on Thursday it has agreed to buy privately held communications company Xspedius Communications LLC for about $531.5 million in cash and stock, to expand its network reach and ability to serve multi-location and multi-city customers.
For the full year of 2007, Time Warner Telecom expects Xspedius’ stand-alone operations to generate about $230 to $250 million of revenue, Time Warner said in a statement.
Closing is expected within six months.
